WISH BAD THINGS is the explosive third single by style-fusing, experimental hip-hop artist WHO SHOT SCOTT. As the artists first offering of 2021, this self-produced, up-tempo track is unlike anything we’ve ever heard from him. Boasting a fat analog synth bass throughout, WSS raps about having enemies watching him from afar, while secretly hoping for his downfall. The music video was shot in one take through a hotel room peephole with WHO SHOT SCOTT performing on the other side of the door - representative of the eyes watching him as he elevates through the music industry. This single is the third release from the artists debut EP “MERCY” coming out in February 2021.
about the artist:
WHO SHOT SCOTT is Zaidoon Nasir who fled Iraq to arrive in New Zealand when he was 2 years old. He found comfort in a friend at age 8 and they were joined at the hip - their shared love for hip-hop resulted in the duo “Times x Two” being born. Together they toured and played shows internationally. In 2019 however, his partner converted religion, abruptly announced he will no longer make music, moved overseas and left his closest friend here with no goodbye. WHO SHOT SCOTT is the brand new project telling the story of betrayal, then rising again, and channeling all that energy into something more powerful.
