Lady Larisa Debut EP Honeychild

Jazz singer Lady Larisa has her postponed release for her debut EP Honeychild out Friday 7th May and show with live band at the Opera House toitoi Saturday 7th May.

Written over lockdown, produced by Thomas Oliver and with Ed Zuccollo (Kita, Trinity Roots etc) Rick Cranson (Little Bushman, Kita etc) Johnny Lawrence (Hollie Smith, Rob Ruha, Thomas Oliver etc) and Barrett Hocking (the Black Seeds).

Larisa left NZ for LA in 89 and spent much time at blues and jazz festivals around the States listening to people she idolized like Aretha Franklin, Coco Taylor, Etta James & Ray Charles. She returned to New Zealand bringing back those influences, opened for Michael Bublé and has recently based herself in Auckland.

Creative NZ Supported the recording of Honeychild and she's already writing more songs for the next project.
