Drawing inspiration from the new lives they were leading in Melbourne after moving from NZ in 2017 the songs are about finding their first shitty band flat, struggling to pay rent, relationship stresses and technological dependencies.
Under Tom Larkin's watchful eye and producer/engineer Jon Grace they approached recording this E.P in a whole new way - "we tracked live using fuzzed up gats, a trashy drum sound and rowdy gang vocals giving “I'm Not Making Good Decisions” a dirty in-your-face vibe that's as subtle as a nail through the foot!"
