The New Zealand Music Managers Forum (MMF NZ), with support from Recorded Music NZ, are proud to present their first Back to Basics seminar of the year.
Aimed at our members living outside of the main Centre’s, the seminar will focus on the fundamentals of the music industry.
Sharing useful information new managers need to know, the Back to Basics seminar will explore the inner workings of an industry that can be very complicated for first timers.
The seminar will discuss; management and band contracts, setting up both a management business and the business of a band, information on APRA, Recorded Music NZ’s Direct to Artist Scheme, and OneMusic, marketing versus promotion, overview of income and royalties, must know essential agencies, and other elements of artist management in general.
One of the MMF NZ’s experienced music managers will be presenting and sharing her indispensable knowledge and answering questions from attendees.
