Music Manager Lorraine Barry began working with Dave Dobbyn 17 years ago. Avantdale Bowling Club, Team Dynamite, Aidan Fine and Aaradhna complete her current roster.
She’s a keen mentor for the MMF and a two-times winner of Manager of the Year. She sits on the Board of the Music Commission.
In her former life at Virgin Records in London she was International Marketing Manager for Massive Attack, Ice T, John Lee Hooker, Gary Moore, Neneh Cherry, Placebo, Gomez, The Verve, Chemical Brothers and the phenomenon that was the Spice Girls. In 1997 she was promoted to Director, Int’l Marketing and two years later won the Special Achievement Award at the UK music industry’s Women of the Year Awards.
